Not declaring all work experience

My husband and I received an ITA. I declared all my work experience, but the problem is that one of my previous employers refuses to provide me with an employment letter or any piece of paper to prove I worked there since things ended badly when I left my job.

I have been thinking of canceling the application and applying again while leaving out this particular job experience. Our points will go down but hopefully we can receive another ITA.

Would this be considered a misrepresentation? Any advice or opinion?

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
It is not misrepresentation, you are not forced to claim all your periods of employment. During the Post-ITA phase you'll have to state this period in the personal history section but if it was not included in the work history section then no proof of employment will be required.

If your employer is refusing to provide a reference letter then you should ask a colleague or supervisor to provide on in plain paper as well as proof that they work for such company.
