Hi, A quick view on my profile
Citizenship/Country of Residence : India
DLI Acceptance Letter recieved : April 27/04/2022
Applied for FALL 2022
I have applied for a Masters program in Neuroscience at the University of Montreal
I have a confirmed stipend of 25,000 CAD and scholarship of 9,000 CAD per year
Adding these amount, it is sufficient for one person living expenses in Quebec (mentioned in IRCC) and my tuition
Do I still need to take GIC ?
Can I show proof of funds by showing my parents account ?
How will this affect my VISA processing time

Since you have funding from the university, a scholarship letter will suffice. Also, it is always better to include your parents' bank statement as additional support. You can apply under non-sds and this does not affect the processing time.
