Hi guys. I am currently residing in europe and an indian citizen. Can someone help me in understanding how many funds are required for regular visa process? I have sufficient funds for one session tuition fees and GIC certificate. However, I have read that I should have enough money to cover all my expenses of one year. Can I use an Indian Fixed Deposit of mine as a proof or can my aunt or my brother residing with me sponsor me for the pending amount? Which is the better option? I don't know if it can be acceptable to provide proofs from 2 different countries. Can someone provide me some info? Thanks

Although you are not eligible for SDS you can still pay your 1-year fee and GIC (or living expenses in your account equivalent to 10,000 CAD) from your account in India coupled with IELTS Academic.

Thank you for replying. But I don't want to use indian account for GIC. I was planning to use it just for the purpose of proof of funds. I am just out of 8000 CAD in my account and I don't understand how can I cover this pending amount. Can't my brother or my aunt provide me a letter of sponsorship? Wouldn't that be more useful in this case?

Get funds from a relative, get a gift deed from them and also make them your sponsor, or you can get GIC with a mutual account with your father in India. I am not aware if you can have a mutual account with your brother or aunt.
