Non SDS passed all steps except background verification, SOWP still hasn't get medical exam request.

Hello, I'm applying from Indonesia, and my intake is in January 2024. I'm confused about why my spouse hasn't received a medical exam request yet. Will he still need to undergo the medical exam, and do our applications get processed together or separately?

Here's the timeline for both applications:

Non SDS:
- Applied on 18 Oct
- Biometric: collected from previous application
- Medical exam request: 8 Nov
- Passed medical exam: 22 Nov
- Passed eligibility: 23 Nov
- Background verification: in progress

SOWP:

- Applied on 18 Oct
- Biometric: collected from previous application
- Medical exam: not started
- Eligibility: in progress
- Background verification: in progress

As my intake is in less than two months, I worry that we won't make it on time. Does anyone have similar issue?

Mine is a Study permit only (SDS), but yeah, I'm also waiting

My timeline is kinda like you:

App. lodged: October 19
Biometrics: October 26
Medical update/passed: October 31
Background, Eligibility & Final Decision: In progress
