I just want to create a thread for people who applied for a study permit in August through Non SDS. Kindly share your timelines together with the country you applied from:) I'll start.

NON SDS: Fall 2021 Intake
Country: Zimbabwe
Application Submitted : 17 August 2021
Upfront Medicals passed : 19 August 2021
Background check : processing
Biometrics updated : not started
Eligibility review : not started

I've applied in July, non sds from India. Timeline on signature.

What's the processing time for non sds application in your country? Like, do you know the average time for your visa office or is it the same from what's shown on the IRCC website

I've seen other people get their study permits within 8weeks, but you never know with these visa officers:confused:

Applied on 19th August
Upfront Medical (not yet updated till yesterday)
Biometrics updated 24th August. I guess it was the same day when I visited VFS.
Review has already been started. Its been like 7-10 days, I guess.
From Nepal
Visa office New Delhi.

Same visa office, I had applied on in July my review hasn't even started. Anyway, good luck to you.

Hello, we have the same timeline. I've applied from Dubai but I'm a Philippine passport holder. Did you apply from Ethiopia?
