Non-residency after Canadian passport

Hello everyone,

I became a Canadian last year and would like to move to my home-country and settle there for at least 3 years. Has anybody information or advice on how to inform CIS about this and whether becoming a non-resident will put my citizenship status in to danger?

CRA has a form to fill out -- N something or other -- that will make things much easier for you, both for filing your taxes once you're a non-resident, and for returning (if you do). Call them and ask about it.
