Dear Friends,

I am sending my full application to London office and I have come across this "NON-ACCOMPANYING FAMILY MEMBERS DECLARATION", I have a son who lives with my ex wife. I am wondering what do I need to get the following? I am filing from Dubai (Resident Status):

"If you have a spouse, common-law partner or dependent children and you do not intend to include them in your application for permanent residence, submit with your application a notarized statutory declaration stating your intention to proceed to Canada without your family members, and confirming that you understand that your family members must meet immigration requirements in their own right if they wish to join you in Canada."

Please advise,

Thanks,

C

Anyone? Any seniors on the forum?

You need to have an "Affidavit of Non-Accompaniment" from a lawyer and have it notarized.

Future problems you may have:

1. Proof of funds inclusive of non-accompanying dependents.
2. Medical request inclusive of non-accompanying dependents.
3. Copy of passport/s of non-accompanying dependents.

These are just my "IMO's" lets wait for the seniors. :)

Hello,
You can also submit your application with an statuary declaration from notary public. Stating, that your son will not give accompany with you. At bottom of the letter your signature and notary public's signature thats it.

As per my knowledge this will be the easiest way to do it.
Good luck.

Thank you Guys.
