I received my nomination certificate from MPNP but I am quite confused with the details, so I hope someone can help me. My nomination has no employment restrictions (Employment Restrictions "No") but the employer from which I received my job offer is indicated as well as my noc (occupation).
My questions are:
1. Can I apply for an open work permit since there is no employment restrictions in my nomination certificate? (I will be applying from outside Canada and this is my first time to apply).
2. If I can apply for an open work permit, how to answer the IMM1295? In the form instruction, it says that if I choose open work permit I don't have to answer questions 2-6 which is all about the details of my employer. OR can I select open work permit and still answer questions 2-6 since I already have an employer?
