I am from INDIA & having some doubts regarding "immigration processing Time" from outside canada.
I have submitted "NOC0213" (Computer Information & System Manager) category on 6th April,2010 & received initial approval from "FSW, CENTRALIZED INTAKE OFFICE, Sydney" in June 10,2010 based on the "eligibility" as,
* Work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on 28 November 2008.
As per the letter, i have submitted required academic & professional education copies to CHC, Delhi office along with IELTS as a "Proof Of English" certification.
Now, The official processing time to "either accept or reject" the application is "15 Months" as per CHC-Delhi office. So, considering June 10,2010 as a starting point, I have to wait till Sep,2011 to complete 15 Months.
Also I would like to know the status of NOC 0213 CAP in canada. On "workingincanada.gc.ca" website is showing hundred of Job opening in this category. Is it just fake advertisement or the respective employers are really keen to hire manpower from outside of canada? If yes,then why CIC is taking too much time to pass qualified IT professionals?
Another question is, while checking CAS ( Check Application Status), it is still showing "File Received on April 6,2010". But,strange thing is in the 1st week of January,2011 it was showing below messages.

I don't understand & unable to identify the problem. Why CIO has modified the status? any ideas? Shall i contact to Local CHC to make a query for the same or not?
