My profile is, Mechanical engineer with more than two years experience in oil & gas industry as a drilling engineer. I am confused about my NOC. The new NOC has code 8222 Supervisors, Oil and Gas Drilling and Service. Most of these duties are performed by me, in the capacity of supervisor(as night compnay man, for the ppl related to oilfield).
But now there is another NOC 2145 (not included in the new list)which is mainly for engineers. In nutshell, my job responsibilities are over lapped in the main duties of both NOC, but more in 2145 as a drilling engineer.
My question is can I appply under 8222(i perform almost 60-80% of its main duties) when most of my duties are covered in 2145??
Any suggestion in this regard will be really helpful.
