Hi
My husband is an organic chemist NOC 2112 which is not in the list for NoC list in 2012 for canada PR.
While I'm an MBA with 3 yrs of work exp. Can't my husband be the principal applicant? I'm asking this because he has his ielts results and everything so we are basically prepared with all the paperwork if he was to be the principal applicant

If i'l have to apply as the principle applicant, i'l have to write ielts and it may be too late to send everything once my results are out, since I will be in management NOC which finishes very fast.
Pls advice .

If you have a Skill Level O, A or B job offer you can apply as the PA under FSW2, no matter what your NOC. Otherwise, the PA's occupation must be included in the in demand NOC list. I don't know how long the waiting list is for IELTS in your area, but you may wish to register ASAP so that your results will be available in early July. Good Luck.

Neither of us have job offers in canada so we will have to go for FSW1.
I hope i qualify for NOC 1122 under FSW1. I am an MBA in marketing with 3 yrs of work experience in advertising consulting / sales.

Research your NOC and see if you fulfill the requirements. Your employer will have to provide a reference letter showing how your duties fit that NOC, along with dates, salary/benefits, etc. Book your IELTS now. As an aside, have you researched NOCs in the 29 list to see if your husband's job duties fit any of them. It is the actual DUTIES not necessarily the job title that is of most importance.
