Hello all

i am planning to show my Noc as 0113 Purchasing manager. In the employment requirement guidelines by ircc it says

• Several years of experience as a purchasing agent or officer are required.

i am showing 4 plus years of experience in purchasing other than that i dont have any prior job experience with purchasing. does this imply that i have not met criteria for job requirement ?

You can apply under this NOC if you were on a manager role, like managing people etc.

Everything under employment requirements is to be ignored. Only lead statement and main duties matter.

Though ideally, you should have several years of experience as a purchasing agent/officer before becoming a manager.

Thanks for your reply... i am working with same company for past 5 and half years . i started as Financial Manager for one year and than i took up a role as purchasing manager with same company. without having previous purchasing experience. now i have 2 buyers/ replenishers working under me.

i don't have prior experience in purchasing ut i have worked for more than one year before becoming a Purchasing manager . any suggestions ?

I think you should be fine as long as your duties match as employment requirements are not relevant.
