Hi,
I am Currently Working as Insurance And Claims Officer and My basic duties involve Lodging Claims and Overseeing the Payments to Insurance Companies plus receiving and recording Claims amounts. Can I use the 1212 NOC Code in the application??? as a large portion includes maintaining and Recording of financial transactions. i.e receiving of claims amount and payments of Premium amounts.
My duties are as follow.
  • Coordinate, assign and review the work of clerks engaged in the activities of accounts payable and receivable; processing, verifying and recording financial transactions to different vendors.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with other departments.
  • Examine and verify accuracy of work and authorize routine payments, credits and other transactions
  • Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports
  • Processing, verifying, and recording insurance claims and forms
  • Establish work priorities, delegate work to office support staff, and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed.
  • Oversee and implement, new Insurances, and their Renewals and Claims lodgment.
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the Risk Department in processing requests.
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services, forms, disposal of assets, maintenance, and Registration of vehicles.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and budgetary controls for the Risk Department.
  • Process enrolments, cancellations, claims transactions, policy changes, and premium payments
  • Review insurance Policies and verify insurance coverage, premiums paid, and other insurance information. Calculate insurance premiums for payments.
  • Compile and maintain claims data, rates, and insurance data and records to update quarterly with the concerned insurance company and with company MIS.
  • Answer inquiries and provide information on insurance products, policies, and services about the different types of Insurances.


Please advise as only two code Matches the name of job I am performing right now one is 1434 which is Banking, insurance and other financial clerks and the second I mentioned earlier is 1212 Supervisors, finance and insurance office workers. I would be grateful if kind advice is provided.
