Since there was no draw today and I was feeling kind of depressed, I went in to review my EE profile just to make sure it's all accurate and up to date.
My work experience is as an elementary and junior high school music teacher. I got a degree in music education and worked briefly in California, but didn't finish my credential there (I first taught at a private school and then worked on an emergency credential). Then I moved to Arizona and taught a few more years but never bothered to get a credential because I knew I was gonna quit to stay at home with kiddos, which I did.
The NOC (4032) says you need a degree in education, which I think would count. But then it says "A provincial teaching certificate is required. Additional certification is required to teach English or French as a second language. Membership in a provincial or territorial teachers' association or federation is usually required."
Should I change this to a different NOC???? I'm a little panicky.
