NOC for education is different to Primary NOC for EE

Hi everyone

When applying for ECA must I state what NOC?
The reason for the question is my bachelor's degree is unrelated to my work experience. I want to apply with the primary NOC code of 0601 (corporate manager) as I have been in this field for the past 10 years. However, my degree falls under NOC 4031. Does it matter that they are different?

Your ECA has nothing whatsoever to do with your work history. They wouldn't know what to do with your NOC if you gave it to them. They evaluate your education. Period.

What about the BC PNP Tech program (or similar job offer related programs), I've heard that visa officers may reject your application because they might think that you are not qualified,
is that true?
