NOC Duties

Hi Guys,

I requested my HR for the employment letter with detailed description of duties but they said they just have short description.

So finally she asked me if i can write her the duties i am performing and she can get me letter drafted up.

Although my duties are similar to the NOC catagory but should i try to get exact wording as it shows on NOC Classicfication guide or as in real i have some extra duties with different wordings and some of duties i dont do ??

which way is more safer coz this time i can mold around the things as on the bigger picture the duties and title are similar to what i do and whats written..

your comments will be appreciated thank you in advance

DO NOT copy-paste or use exact wording... Better state your actual duties, they can tell if they under ant of the bullet-pointed list of duties they have.

can i jus change some wordings and work around that....even if i show different a bit then they can create trouble also...

also i have seen on canada job bank in job opening they use same duties in job description...
i was a bit worried cz i heard alot of cases saying duties mismatched so this i had it in my hand i can play around...

Describe your duties in your own words, or do some research on your occupation, reading job advertisements, to see how they explain the duties in other words, cause the jobbank, as you said, does not help with that.

As long as most of the duties fall under the umbrella of the noc list description, you should be ok.
