I recently graduated from a Canadian university and have a job as Electrical engineer in training (EIT). Since I wish to apply for PR eventually, I need the NOC code but I couldn't find the job title anywhere on the NOC info website. EITs are usually junior or entry level engineers. Does anyone know what's the corresponding NOC code?

Help is greatly appreciated!

See the matrix: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/pdf/Matrix.pdf

Code for Electrical Engineer would be = 2133 the last digit is 3 after 213 because Electrical Engg comes at third after Civil and Mechanical Engrs.

You can enter 2133 in the Quick Search at top left hand side and Press GO, at this website and verify

Yes, apprentices and trainees usually share the NOC code of the more experienced in the same occupation -
