Hi, I am going to apply very soon for the Express Entry under CEC. However, I am having some doubts whether is going to work or not, because the letter I got from my company doesn't quite match with the job description of the NOC code I am going to use. I want to mention that I am actually doing 5 out of 14 of the task mentioned in the NOC code 9232, but the letter I have is too general and is not breaking down every task in details.

What would you guys do in this scenario?

Thanks in advance

You can get a reference letter with the right duties from a colleague or manager in plain paper and provide proof that they work at such company.

Thanks for your response. So, basically, I should get an unofficial VOE letter (I say unofficial because is not going to have a company letterhead) from my manager and then ask him to provide me his official VOE and attach both?

Sorry for asking so many questions but, should I include as well the letter I got from the company even though is not very detailed? (so in total it would be 3 letters). And, I am assuming you have heard from someone who did it before and it works right?

Thanks so much for your time and help

I do not see the reason behind why you would want to include all 3 letters?? You can just include the Letter drafted by your colleague or manager (consisting of all the CIC requirements ofcourse) as Delpiero07 suggested and that would suffice. Good luck.

You can include it even if it is vague but if it completely contradicts the NOC chosen then that would be a bit risky IMO.

Either way if I were in your position i'd write a LOE stating why you're submitting a letter in plain paper and yes, this approach works.

Ok I'll give it try and speak to my manager, even though the company were I work is very strict on their policies and I don't think my manager is allowed to provide letters and just HR is in charge of that
