Hello all, I am wondering if someone could help clarify this.
For the purposes of express entry, I am confused if my NOC code chosen matches my job duties and I'm wondering if anyone who has seen this before could help decipher this. I have a masters in mech engineering and I think this makes the most sense, but I am not sure.
My title is applications engineer and job duties are:
1. Engineering support for sales
2. Responsible for tech training to customer
3. Maintain contacts with overseas factories for R&D of new products, liason with Quality engineer to ensure compliace of specifications
4. Component testing in lab and spec sheet preparation, test report preparation and assessment of sample submissions
5. Technical direction for forms (PPAP etc.)
6. Technical direction for required forms in events of corrective action
7. Technical guidance to develop new products and applications.
It does mention in my reference letter that a mechanical engineering degree may be required for this role.

Here is what I see in the NOC mechanical engineer description

Lead statement: Mechanical engineers research, design and develop machinery and systems for heating, ventilating and air conditioning, power generation, transportation, processing and manufacturing. They also perform duties related to the evaluation, installation, operation and maintenance of mechanical systems. They are employed by consulting firms, by power-generating utilities and in a wide range of manufacturing, processing and transportation industries, or they may be self-employed.

Duties:

Thanks in advance
