Hello Everyone,

I am planning to apply my permanent resident under express entry in Canadian experience class. Currently, I am working as Logistics Business Solutions Analyst. I am working in a support team and these are my job responsibilities:

· Maintain Company’s Transport Management System

· Communicate electronically and in person with TMS users experiencing difficulties to resolve and document problems experienced.

· Document users issues with TMS and creates guides to solve common problems.

· Build Standard Operating Procedure documents whenever Logistics Department adds or improves a work Process

· Consults user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions

· Emulates or reproduces technical problems encountered by users

· Provide continuous training to users in response to identified difficulties and new processes.

· Recommend improvements to methods, systems and procedures in system operations and participate in ongoing system improvements

· Analyze logistics data, providing reports to support business strategies and decisions

· Administrate and provide training on TMS and other logistics software to new and existing system users to help improve productivity

· Continuously research new and innovative logistics support software to facilitate more efficient workflow

· Working with internal and external stake holders to implement the system changes

· Set up new Customers and partner carriers

· Upload and maintain the system rate database for logistics

Based on the above responsibilities, I feel it fits under 2282.

Please have a look and let me know can I apply under 2282 or some other NOC code?

These are the responsibilities provided for noc code 2282 under government website

Communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced
Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions
Emulate or reproduce technical problems encountered by users
Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
Provide business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
Collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
Participate in the redesign of applications and other software
May supervise other technical support workers in this group.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciate!

Thanks,

Arun

NOC should be selected on the basis of the match of actual duties and responsibilities carried out by you rather than the designation/title match in the NOC list. You need not match the duties and responsibilities word by word, but the idea is to have the closest match in terms of the spirit of the duties and responsibilities (at least 60%-70% match).

If you have found an NOC where the duties and responsibilities are the same as what you worked, then go for that NOC, even if the NOC designation/title does not match. However, in your application still mention the designation as per your reference letter/experience letter.

However, still if you need a clarification, I would suggest that you write to noc@workingincanada.gc.ca with your duties and responsibilities, they will help you find the closest fit.
