NOC Code for Full stack developer .

Hi ,

My question is related to NOC code and it's employment requirements . I am a full stack developer and roles and responsibility matches with 2173 or 2174 . Also , on the employment requirement where it says :

"A bachelor’s degree in computer science or in another discipline with a significant programming component or Completion of a college program in computer science is usually required."

My bachelors is in Electrical and Electronics but I have done my Post graduation in cloud computing with big data . " Does this PG fulfil this employment requirement for me ?


Please respond if someone had the same situation and what NOC code did they choose ?

I have the same questions about my experience. The best if make a checklist of both NOC codes and match with your reference letters duties. Choose the one which matches more than the other.

If you have more programming experience than team leading, planning and documentation, go with 2174 (my opinion, do not go blind with it).

Yes ,I also checked with my director and he said 2174 would be appropriate .

Also ,I had previous team experience with title "Technical systems Analyst ".After checking noc codes .I ended up with 2171 .
Let me know if you have an idea .

I doubt it matters too much too be honest, as long as the majority of what you do is listed in that NOC code. The problem would arise when you say you're a doctor but in fact you were the receptionist in that hospital.

I went with 2173 (most of my duties matched largely with 2173 and 2174).. it doesn't matter so long as majority of the duties listed for the NOC code are on your reference letter

One more question , I did my Post Grad from Canada and applied for India PCC from here.By any chance do you know ,how much is the validity ?

AFAIK PCC validity is almost always 6 months, unless otherwise stated

On Google ,It's mentioned that if you are NRI ,Your PCC validity is for a year so thought to confirm .
