Hi everyone!
I am about to apply for PR via CEC and confused about the NOC code I should use. I am working in a marketing agency and was promoted to be an Associate Account Manager from the position of Account Coordinator one month before I hit my one-year mark. Here're my questions:
Thank you very much!
I am about to apply for PR via CEC and confused about the NOC code I should use. I am working in a marketing agency and was promoted to be an Associate Account Manager from the position of Account Coordinator one month before I hit my one-year mark. Here're my questions:
- Title: Which title should I use for application, Account Coordinator or Associate Account Manager?
- NOC code: Which code should I use, 0124 is for manager level or 1123 for junior level? Or I need to refer to my job description?
- 0124 – Advertising, marketing and public relations managers (https://noc.esdc.gc.ca/Structure/No...re0s1jHVwVGqirUgsMR4GiMBJM4d4rihTNbP73tPKZeo=)
- 1123 – Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relation(https://noc.esdc.gc.ca/Structure/No...f7X7E12lq1YHl8NKaOJ3JBcIyMxrUkpdvc/69CPMnrfFU)
- Main duties: It is quite tricky that my job description is not fully aligned with the main duties on the government website (only meet 4 out of 16). Will it affect my qualification? What I should do to help?
- Explanation: I heard that it is a good way to use promotion to prove your progress at work. Should I write and attach a letter to show my promotion when I mail my documents?
Thank you very much!
