Hello. For the people who have used NOC codes for architects (or even engineers) in class A –
Do you need to have a license or prove it? Has anyone here who has either a job title of Junior Designer, Architectural Designer, Architectural Intern, etc successfully obtained a Visa or Permanent Residency using an Architect NOC code? I have a Canadian-recognized Master of Architecture degree, and three years of related experience. My “duties” are similar to both Architectural Technologist and Architect, maybe slightly more the Technologist. However, my immigration consultant has told me I can qualify under Architect, and it boosts my score for PR, since it is class A vs B. Originally my employer wanted me to apply under Architectural Technologist, but a coworker "Intermediate Designer" just got this PNP with an Architect NOC code. Since I am applying for a Young Professionals work permit now too, I believe I should use the same NOC code for the YP permit so that it can be used towards PR.
