I worked as Banking advisor for RBC. I got the job experience letter from them. The job duties are as follows:-
As a Banking Advisor, the duties include but are not limited to:
• Opening new personal accounts for personal clients.
• Submitting pre-approved overdraft protection and pre-approved credit card applications.
• Responding to personal clients with professional and accurate service for their everyday
banking transaction needs.
• Providing access to ATMs, telephone banking, and online banking services for both
personal and business clients.
• Reviewing and updating personal credit and loan documentation for records maintenance.
• Identifying delinquent loans, credit cards, credit cards, credit lines, or mortgages and
referring clients to Collections.

• Educating clients on the breadth and depth of different ways to interact with RBC (in
person, by phone, virtually, and digitally).
• Enabling clients to engage with RBC through the channel of their choice by providing
access to automated banking machines (ABMs), telephone banking, online banking, and
RBC digital apps.
• Actively engaging and diligently educating and enabling our clients to digitally self-serve,
fulfil, and buy on their own mobile device, using online banking, or at the ABM, at every
occasion.
• Ensuring clients leave set up and ready to use the RBC digital apps, online banking, and
ABMs.
• Building long-term profitable relationships by being along the client's path for key life
moments.
• Interviewing clients to understand their immediate needs and financial goals, and
proposing solutions, including various types of loans, through cross-selling, bundling, and
renewal opportunities.
• Ensuring that clients who are going through key life events, such as retirement transition
or estate settlement, are referred to an Investment and Retirement Planner or Financial
Planner.
• Promoting the sale of RBC deposit, investment, credit, and loan products and services.
• Proactively resolving client concerns and continuously striving to provide sales and digital
options as solutions.
• Acting as an RBC Ambassador inside our stores and representing RBC at local community
events, championing the RBC brand and driving business.
• Actively engaging and participating in, and championing, national and regional sales
campaigns.
• Proactively approaching clients in the branch to offer personalized assistance and advice,
proposing solutions to address clients' financial objectives and goals.
• Providing insights and advice that are meaningful, memorable, and timely.
• Deepening relationships by meeting clients' immediate needs and discovering additional
advice and solutions opportunities, ensuring no client leaves unsatisfied.
• Using tools and resources to maximize client interactions and create awareness of RBC's
products and services, and to support opportunity spotting, advice, and recommendations.
• Introducing partners and specialists to clients at the right time to deepen client
relationships, meet financial needs, and acquire new clients to RBC.
• Using discovery skills to research, review, and evaluate clients' immediate needs, financial
status, references and credit, and ensuring they are directed to the most appropriate
individual.
• Building a corporate memory by reviewing and updating credit and loan files, enabling
continuity of client service and future opportunity spotting, across channel and roles,
documenting details of client interactions in the most appropriate system (e.g. Sales
Platform, Service Platform).
• Demonstrating cash/operations/risk excellence by taking appropriate action to minimize
client impact and unit losses, while balancing the client experience.
