I am trying to select the NOC code for EE profile. I am electrical engineer by profession, however, based on the responsibilities as mentioned under NOC codes, my 80% job responsibilities are matching with "Electrical Engineering Technologist". But when i go down and read the qualification requirements for "Electrical Engineering Technologist" it states "three year or two year diploma", etc. I have in actually 4-years engineering degree. My question is should i choose NOC code based on my actual responsibilities OR should i go with NOC code of "Electrical/ Electronics Engineer" in which my only 40% job responsibilities are matching?
Does the qualification degree must match the NOC code qualification requirements or shall i only focus on "responsibilities" under NOC codes irrespective of the title/ qualification of NOC code?
