Hi everyone,

I have a very stupid question.

1. NOC codes are given from hrsdc to your employer when he hired you right?
2. So when you apply for PR, do you find your NOC code that matches your duties yourself? Or do you take the NOC code which was given to your employer and match your letter accordingly?

As for me I got for my second (which is my current WP) work permit an NOC code 2141. So my duties only match only partly. My plan is to keep my actual duties and also add parts of the NOC code 2141. What do you guys think???

1. No. HRSDC publishes and maintains the list of all NOC codes, and when necessary employers match jobs to the existing NOC codes.
2. The NOC code that matches your duties should match the one on your LMO, otherwise you have been doing unauthorised work in Canada and are not eligible for CEC.

Word of caution: this is your second thread where you've posted ideas of how you plan to lie to CIC. I would suggest that you consider the potential costs (deportation, being banned from Canada, etc). Remember that if CIC chooses to do even a little fact checking, you will get caught. Not only would your status in Canada be affected, but travel to other countries (like the US, UK and EU countries) would be very difficult. The types of lies you are planning to tell cannot be later explained away as mistakes....good luck

hhahaaha... funny that this is not lying, this is finding a way to stay in this beautiful country my friend. I mean I could do it the old classic way like the mexicans and just jump over the fence, but that wouldn't get me very far!! Thanks, I'm just going to tell the truth now that I was working under messed up conditions and was used from canadians. Thank you!!!

I hope you get chucked out. You are an idiot.

If the NOC you choose doesn't match what is on your work visa - you will be rejected. I hope, you are, rejected.

You are intentionally attempting to deceive the government....I beg the differ and say this with conviction: this is fraud!!! Providing false information on a government document is a crime. These conditions you speak of are terms of agreement you reached with your employer, regardless if its verbal. While the employer is wrong to have altered the conditions, you blatantly agreed. Therefore, you are at fault for this predicament. You had the option of reporting this unauthorized change, but you chose otherwise. While all of us may sympathize with you on some level, you cannot say that this was not your choice and that you were forced to do so.

As a civil servant myself, I can tell you that procedural integrity comes before everything else. If I was to come across anything like this, my first thought would be to detain and deport, as well as impose a ban on your further entry into this country. This blemish would understandably remain on your record, to be flagged, for all future purposes.

Give this a read and consider the consequences of your actions. The repercussions could be quite serious.
