***My NOC Code Entry Issue Post-ITA***
I have a question about my post-ITA process for CEC. I claimed 50 points for an LMIA-supported job with NOC code 21222. In my Express Entry profile, there were two fields: one asking for the five-digit NOC code, where I filled in 21222, and another asking for the current job NOC code. For the latter, I filled in 2171, thinking that was the exact code to use since it’s also mentioned in my LMIA letter.
After receiving the ITA, I realized I could have used 21222 for both fields. I’m now unsure what to do—should I keep NOC 2171 for my current job, or should I change it to 21222 and explain the situation in a letter of explanation?
