Hey! I know this question has been done to death previosuly , but Im hoping someone can throw some light on the matter of selecting the correct NOC Code.

Status : ITA (Draw#67, CRS 478)

Education: MPhil in Engineering + MSc in Engineering Management + B.Eng in Electronics & Instrumentation

Work Experience : 10/2015 - Current
Industry : Glass & Steel Processing/ Manufacturing / Fit-Outs
Location : United Arab Emirates
Designation : Consultant Engineer

Duties:

Managing day to day operations of the Company
Developing Plans for each project ( Prototyping & Sampling , Production Schedule , Material Planning , Labour Allocation)
Responsible for Sourcing & Implementing new automation technology to meet the production demands.
Recruitment and training of skilled workmen
Developing procedure for workflow, QA/QC

Question: I have originally listed my NOC code as 0211 "Engineering Manager", however I am contemplating should I change it to 0911 " Manufacturing Manager " . Although there is an overlap between the duties over the two NOC codes, I would appreciate some advice on which would be the best fit based on my history.

Secondly, How important is to suffice the " Employment Requirements" criteria listed under the NOC code . As 0911 states "Five to ten years of supervisory experience in manufacturing are required."

0211 states " Extensive experience in an engineering discipline, including supervisory experience, is required - Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association of professional engineers is usually required."

As mentioned previously , I do not have the stated experience ( Over 5 years) nor Do I have the P.Eng certification (Its not required here).

Under these circumstances, am I ineligible to use these two NOC codes for my application?

Hope I have managed to get my question across. Would appreciate any help.

Thanks
