I based my application on NOC 21300 - Civil engineers
I graduated with a civil engineering degree, worked as a “graduate civil engineer” for 5 months then switched companies and started working as a “project coordinator” for 1 year and 2 months as of today, but only had been working that for 8 months at the time of filling my application.
Given that I am an engineer-in-training, and I’m still not sure if I want to stay in project management or Civil engineering (technical) did I make a mistake basing my application on that NOC?
HR at my current company insisted that my NOC for this position is 21300, even though I’m pretty sure it’s 70010 - Construction Managers.
Am I screwed? I already submitted my application. please advise!
