I’ll be applying outside Canada and work location will be in Ontario.
If you don’t have experience for that given lmia job there is very high chance of refusal. I know it’s short but too risky at the same time .

You will just waste your money and time. LMIA for outside applicants is already closed since june 18, 2019. Even visitors who are already in Canada cannot apply for a work permit (even with positive lmia) , it was announce in april 2022. before it was okay from visitors in canada to work permit (for caregivers), now no more.
If you're employer keeps on pushing you with this then better find a new employer. One applicant of January 2022 did the same thing, and got refused after 2 mons. All caregivers must go through hccp/hswp except in quebec

Hi, I'm really confused with this one..it says on the canada website for caregivers that visitors can apply, (under the PR for caregivers-- work permit submitted on its own-- visitors who needs wp) but on the TFW program it says visitors cant apply. Its so confusing! Anyway if the applicant you know applied in Jan 2022, isnt she supposed to be approved if she's on tourist as she applied before Apr. 2022?

So you applied before April 2022? If so it should be processed but doesn’t mean approved.
