Hi experts,

Just wondering if work experience gained during a master's program (research and teaching assistant - noc 4012) should be included in the EE profile. Also, does anyone know if the work experience will count towards FSW stream. I know it is not eligible for CEC but what about FSW? Just looking to see if more points can be gained.

Include it if you want, but it appears that for EE, the "no experience as a full-time student" rule now applies across the board...

Last question, looking at this link (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=855&t=6) it seems that the work experience may not count for CEC but for FSW.

Can you provide a source that says any work experience gained as a student does not count towards EE?

Requirements for the programs appear to have been modified under EE, but have not been made explicit for the individual programs.

For example, CEC class has previously not required that work experience be continuous. But under EE, it appears to be a requirement.

Same with the "no student work experience" criteria - did not apply to FSW before, but appears to be part of it now.

Hello there!

Do you guys have any news on this topic? Can I as an international PhD student (3rd year) apply to FSW through EE with only my TA/RA work experience? Any success stories of PhDs with NOC 4012 since Express Entry was launched? (or unfortunately unsuccessful cases?)
