hi all,
i hope you're able to advise and assist me especially those who have experienced this
so this is the story...
i have attended (received the invitation) of the New Brunswick Information Session held at Ho Chi Minh City on 26 August 2018
prior to that when the Info Session registration was opened for Vietnam, i signed up and luckily i got the email notification that i was invited to attend, but here's the thing, during the registration or sign up process (provided ECA, IELTS and resume/CV), i chose NOC 2281 as it's the closest NOC to my job description/work experience
part of the main duties/responsibilities for NOC 2281 there's only around 30% entail or as part of my current job as a helpdesk/technical support (NOC 2282)
the work i do and the work experiences i had are 90%+ of NOC 2282 main duties/responsibilities that's why in my Express Entry profile i selected NOC 2282
https://www.welcomenb.ca/content/wel-bien/en/immigrating/content/HowToImmigrate/NBProvincialNomineeProgram.html
I understand that for New Brunswick, NOC 2282 is not on their priority list and as of latest they are currently looking for candidates that have these NOCs for IT:
i am determined though to just send an Expression of Interest, have their EOI form filled in and send to New Brunswick
so in the EOI form, under the NOC (intended occupation), should i declare as 2282 or still 2281?
New Brunswick EOI form - https://www.pxw1.snb.ca/snb7001/e/1000/CSS-FOL-NBPNP-019E.pdf
my worry is that if i declare NOC 2281 in the form, i won't be able to align my job description to the specified main duties/responsibilities which i believe in turn may invalidate my application
i have declared NOC 2281 in my Information Session, does it have a bearing? as the NOC i declared in Info Session is not the same as the NOC based on my job/work experiences (NOC 2282), will this also disqualify my application?
your advice would be so much appreciated
