Hi guys.....

Below are my roles and responsibilities. Are these fine for NOC 2173?

Duties and responsibilities handled by Mr. Gursahib Singh are as follows:

· Primarily responsible for design and development of embedded firmware on Microchip microcontrollers (PIC16Fxx Series and PIC18Fxx Series) for the client.

· Responsible for designing, developing, writing, debugging and testing of the application firmware in C/C++ language as per the client requirements.

· Meeting the client in order to understand the requirements, intricacies involved and suggest the appropriate microcontroller according to the Flash, RAM, EEPROM and Input-Output peripherals.

· Design the flowchart, algorithm, logics and plan the project stages as per the time frame.

· Provide post production support, visit the production site and review I/O efficiency. Suggest if any changes required at software or hardware end.

· Analyzing technological problems in installed application systems based on microcontrollers, checking its technical resolution (on software and hardware end) in working condition, and troubleshooting the same, preferably at customer’s location.

· Utilizing engineering design skills and knowledge to decrease client development time and improve manufacturability.

· Troubleshooting system applications based on embedded systems and microcontrollers on customer’s` request, resolving other issues, conducting regular follow up on customer’s activities, and communicating the same to sales staff.

· Supporting the in-house research and development team of client to curtail their development time and support on firmware development, schematic design, provide demos and training on software and hardware tools.

· Writing the firmware for several products: Panel Meters, Home Automation, Smart Lighting, Air Purifiers, Street Light. Taking support from hardware design team if required.

· Keeping official records of customer’s project status, Design-Ins, Design-Wins.
