I think Cisco expert should apply on the Computer network technician NOC. 2171 is more like for person who sit in between the developers and the client.

NOC 2171 is more for ppl like me, with Microsoft Business Solutions / Microsoft Dynamics / etc. certificates working as an IT consultant / analyst either on the IT systems implementation projects, or within the IT departments on the clients' side.

However you should check the corresponding NOC description and main duties once again, you still may qualify.

But I am working as a Sr Consultant for Cisco Voice technologies. And my duties will cover the same as of NOC 2171. I got the letter from my employer as well

For sure you are eligible if your main duties are the same as described in the NOC 2171.

Please let me know if you have any new network engineer job requirement in Quebec ( already applied 18+ months ago ).
