NOC 2147 in year 2014

Hi Everryone,
Not sure if i would be lucky enough to get through the selection under NOC 2147 this year. I couriered by application last week. What do you all think, will NOC 2147 will be there in next year 2014 ?

As far as I understand, CIC is switching to an Expression of Interest system, where you submit an application, get added to the pool of applicants, get selected by an employer, be allowed to continue with rest of the process. I am not very sure whether the NOC system will be in place in combination with this new scheme.

CIC has an article that explains the role of employers in the EOI system...

CIC said that the: Expression of Interest System model is expected to start on january 2015 so as of now no one know if the FSW program will be open in may 2014 or there will just be a temporary close until january 2015 just like what they did last year when they put a hold on the program from july 2012 until may 2013 to establish the new selection criteria back then.
just keep checking cic website for more updates on the future.

I guess I read something about CIC's plans to minimize backlog before kicking off the EOI system. This supports the possibility that there will be a moratorium.
