Dear amr1001, you may find it useful to compare your duties to those of NOC 0123 and decide which of the NOC duties are closest to your duties.
Also, do not wait too much, you can be late. At the end of the day you are not losing anything (except maybe some time and money) but you may gain a lot.

Anyway, no one in this forum works for CIC and no one can give you an exact answer to your question. We all here can only make assumptions and suggest what we think is the best option. Final decision is yours.

duties:
-Responsible for all aspects of developing products including business plan development that includes revenue forecasting, prices, suggested marketing programs if needed.
-Has significant contact with customers at a strategic level, recommends there requirements, and ensure that changing market demands are incorporated into product design/development.
-Create and maintain a strategic products agenda

I dont know if these duties make you eligible or not. May be some senior member can put some light over this issue.

It could take 2-3 months to get your file no. So just hang in there and wait.

@majorhell: thanks for your advise. It means Dec or Jan.. so should I expect email or letter by post??
Secondly, what is the current status? have anyone under category 1 had got any reply??

Actually
Persons in NOC 1122 have been getting responses in three weeks
we have several persons who sent off docs in late August
and have already had there credit card charged.

As to the actual AOR that is expected to start flowing this month

I have an inquiry about NOC 1122:
I am a Mechanical Engineer (M.Sc from Netherlands, Europe) by Qualification and works in production environment in public sector as Work Study Analyst which is included in the NOC 1122. The task in this role matches closely with main duties of the NOC 1122. My confusion is my qualification as I do not any have any business administration or commerce degree but it is engineering. I specialized in Production Technology during my master studies and I studied subjects both at Bachelor level and Master level which helped me a lot in the role of Work Study Analyst.
Am I eligible for the Canadian Immigration???.

Any help will be appreciated a lot.

yes u may be eligible..cio has no where mentioned that u need to have a specific degree to do the duties in 1122.. all u should be compliant is the duties..

I'm an accountant can I apply under noc 1122. I have IELTS test , experience and every things are completed.

NOC 1122 will be the first one to 1000
so CIO will be very selective as it relates to this

If you can get Job letter that speaks to consultancy
then you may be able to squeeze in
But as an accountant, ur chance are slim
