I'm from the Philippines and I'm currently here in Canada with an open work permit. I'm currently working as an external auditor in a public accounting firm here in Vancouver, British Columbia for almost a year now. My job description matches the job description for financial auditors, but I'm not sure if I'm qualified to use NOC 1111 although I don't have a license here in Canada. Based on the employment requirements, I must have a training and recognition as indicated for chartered accountants, certified general accountants or certified management accountants. I'm not sure if that means I should get a license before I can apply for PR? Kindly enlighten me. Thanks!
