- Designation: Manager dealing mainly with trade of batteries, bicycles and fitness items from China to all over world.
- Her professional duties and job responsibilities include:
l As a full-time employee, she is mainly responsible for sales, business development, and documentation in both domestic and international markets.
l Proficiency in managing the entire import/ export operations encompassing finalization of contract arranging supplies, logistics, controlling quality, Shipping arrangement and documentation, bank interaction, customs clearance, insurance and other allied functions etc.
l Handling all the correspondence with overseas buyers and China office.
l Locating, selecting and determining the price for the product, negotiating the best prices as per client requirement to secure an order for the company. Preparing Projected Cost Sheet and Profitability Analysis and ensuring adherence to planned expenses.
l Sending advances to factories to start the production, executing all bank formalities for funds transfer to Chinese suppliers.
l Interacting with banks for opening L/Cs, making remittances, and arranging Bank Guarantees.
l Preparing various pre and post shipment documents of import and export.
l Supervising the production schedule with factories through email correspondence.
l Scheduling inspection of goods when goods are ready by corresponding with international quality checking companies like SGS and Intertek.
l Filing application for Invalidation/Revalidation of License SONCAP, PVOC.
l Dealing with Shipping Lines & Freight Forwarders to ensure best freight rates and timely shipment of Export/Import Consignments
l After shipment, making all pending payments to China factories to secure final documents and arranging to send them to international buyers to release the consignment after it reaches the designation.
l Provide and ensure quality Customer Service is consistently delivered and handle and resolve all customer issues if any problem rose in the shipment.
l Preparing MIS reports with a view to apprise top management of the routine import and export operations.
