I will like your expert opinion regarding my eligibility in category 0111 and 1111. I am not sure whether my qualification and work experience fits more in category "0111: Financial Managers" or "1111: Financial Auditors and Accountants"

I did MSc in Economics , MBA in Banking and Finance and Post Graudate diploma in Economics (UK).

I have 8 years experience working as a Bank Account Officer.

As my day to day job, I am involved in Bank Operations specifically:
1) Accounts handling (remittance, check books, account opening, bank statements
2)Sales
3)Customer Relationship
4)Income Tax Returns
5)Audit observations
6)Foreign accounts handling and conversions of FCY
7)Bank statements
8)examine and analyze journal and ledger entries

I will be much obliged if you kindly advise should I apply in 0111: Financial Managers OR 1111:Financial Auditor and Accountants.

Hi,

Comparing what you wrote and what are the duties for a 0111 Financial Managers, I don't think they will accept your application as a Financial Manager... but you could try.

Regards.

Hello juanda78,

So you think NOC 0111: Financial Managers does not fit my job description.

Would you suggest I stand a better chance if I apply as in 1111: Financial Auditors and Accounting.

Now check which once you perform and under which NOC. I have applied under 0111-Financial Manager and I wrote very less of them in the Form. I am still waiting for response from CIO. What your wrote, it does not seem to be fit either in 0111 or in 1111.

It is very difficult to say if the other one will work for you. In the end you are the only one who knows exactly what you do or don't in your current job. If you do a lot of Auditing, you may opt for the 1111 NOC code. Remember that is not ony what you say you do, but also what your company letter says you do. You will never know for sure unless you apply.

Regards.
