No Visa on passport So can I travel from Canada to India via Istanbul (turkey) ?

Hello everyone,

I have flight on 6th Jan 2020 from Canada to India via Istanbul but my study visa is expired and I am on work permit till 2022 but I have just applied for TRV stamp which is under process (I have passport with me and I will be doing stamping for TRV visa from India). So Immigration will allow me to board flight from YYZ Pearson Airport, Toronto, Canada to Istanbul (stopover for 4 hours) and then to Mumbai, India?

If someone gone through same situation then please let me know via replying this thread or my mail id is karammarora@gmail.com.
It will be great help to me and even I called Turkey embassy of Canada but still I am worried.

You will have no trouble flying from Canada to India (assuming you're an Indian citizen). There's no exit immigration in Canada.

Canada won't care, nor will the airline, provided you are able to enter India with your passport (and don't need a transit visa for Turkey)
