No surname of spouse ..filling personal history

My spouse accompanying dependant has no surname. Only use Give name. While filling EE after many inquiries we left blank give name column and filled his name in surname column and it went perfectly fine.Now post ITA while filling personal history, I have to fill his details inmy relationship column..but here I am unable to leave blank the Given name column. . For instances his name is Harmanjeet Singh . No surname. What should i do..please any guidance
