No surname in the passport

In my passport there is no surname..
But in the given name it is sachin syriak..
So for GIC ,i had given first name as sachin and surname as syriak..
Is that a problem for getting visa??
Can anybody help me?!!

You need to put given names in surname field:

GIC?

I have the same exact issue. I always put my 2 names in given name field. And then leave surnMe column blank. If form does not allow that, just fill NA. I have cleared UK and US study visa. And now Canada PR, never faced any problem. You can do this or what above poster says . Both should work.

Just do not forget to give a LOE mentioning this.
