Hey Guys,
When I'm trying to fill the family section post ITA it asks me for surname which my mom and dad doesn't have in their passports. They have the whole name in the given name section As per CIC website it says write the given name in the surname section and leave the given name section blank and DO NOT write Not Applicable but the given name field is mandatory and the system is not accepting it. Any suggestions are highly appreciated. Thank you.

I had the same case. so wrote their given name in both given name and surname fields and explained it in Letter of explanation. It worked in my case. I don't think it a big deal as many people do not have surnames on their legal documents. so you can proceed by putting them in both fields and explain it in LOE.
