No surname in Passport. Will this be an issue?

So i have a typical punjabi sikh male name 'xxxx singh'.
thing is all my documents have this name and Although i do have a surname I didnt add it in passport because my other documents didn't had it.
On passport
given name : 'xxx singh'
surname : empty



So if i want to got to canada would there be any problems?. like in application or sin etc?

try to make a affidavit about it

That shouldn’t be a problem at all! If you don’t have the surname on all your documents that should be fine. If you have your surname on some of your docs but not on all then try getting an affidavit.

Yes on all of my documents i dont have surname just the two names 'xxx singh'
