NO strong ties to support TRV.

Hello everyone. I hope someone can help me with this difficult question. At the moment I'm being sponsored under Family Class spousal visa but I would like to visit my wife in Canada, the only problem is that I don't have strong ties to my home country. Is there still a possibility that I can be approved to visit my wife if I give a really good reason why.. Thanks in advance

There is always a chance but it is unlikely due to the mentioned ties.

A really good reason might do the trick, but for those reasons you need to prove them and also that it clearly shows you NEED to travel.

Oh ok. I thought it would help. The reason is to celebrate our first wedding anniversary together. Thank you..

That is not a good reason. CIC would suggest she does the travelling, or meeting in a third country. There is no need for you to travel to Canada.

Oh shoot.. She was doing the travelling like we always do but this time she had to cancel due to the ZIKA virus that are affecting pregnant women. So our only option now is for me to travel to Canada because we don't want to risk the health of our unborn baby.
