Hello, I arrived in canada in October of 2011. When I entered Canada they did not stamp/swipe my passport. My 6 months is now up, But something has come up with my girlfriend and I want to stay a few more months. I am planning on over staying, Do they have any record that I'm here? Or could I go back in June and have no problem, Please let me know. I am a US citizin.

A stamp is not required to extend your stay. You can do it online, it takes about 20 minutes, and costs 75 bucks. Use the self-assessment tool, and you will see you do not require a stamp.

Here is the CIC link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/extend-visit.asp
