I trust everyone is doing well.
I had applied for my PGWP on Feb 2020. I have not get my PGWP yet as it was transferred to the local office. However, I already received my PR on April 2022. The last time we receive our CCB was on July 2020. Today, I received a letter from CRA with a breakdown of all the amounts, however, for the retroactive amount, I only received since May 2022. I was hoping they would retroactive the date from Aug 2020 ( I was following other forums as well and most of them mentioned they got the old amounts).
Due to the delay of IRCC to process my PGWP, we were deprived to got our CCB rights.
I called CRA already, but they are saying they can retroactive the payment only from the date after we receive our PR.
We are wondering if there is anything that we could do to get those retroactive amounts.
Is there anyone in the same situation who find out the way to deal with this? I would appreciate the suggestion.
