NO response from CIC...Application opening time these days?

After we have sent the application last June 2013 we haven't hear anything from the CIC. We just have the delivery confirmation from courier company .We are now wondering about our applications whereabouts. :-[.
Doe anybody know how much time does it take to just open the application these days?

Same with me also. since April 2013.
When checked with my consultant....she said nothing to worry, if anything is non conformance with documents submission to CIC, then CIC shall revert.

So won't worry. I shared my experience, please wait for some more views from forum and come to a conclusion.
