Hello members,

Can any kind-hearted member please enlighten me. I'm from the Philippines. My wife is sponsoring my PR Visa. My E-CAS is in process since March 25,2010. I have completed all the requirements requested by cic manila but up to now I have not received any passport request in any form ( phonecall, e-mail, or letter of any sort) from their office. I don't think this is normal as I have read all cic manila timelines of applicants and they all received their passport request letters in like a few weeks after their E-CAS says in process. ANYBODY WHO HAS SIMILAR CASE PLEASE POST HERE. Thank you very much.

You are getting too anxious, processing at Manila for spousal applications is 5-9 months from receipt for 80% of the applications.

The post by PMM does apply to your case. PMM was letting you know that you are still within the normal timeline for Manila processing of PR, so try to relax! If you are that worried, email the Visa office however this may slow things down since you are still within the normal processing timeline.

I WAS ONLY ASKING FOR SIMILAR CASES. IF THERE IS...

Anyway, I already got a DM and Passport Request at the same time on August 16. My e-cas was changed to DM last August 17. Exceptional case indeed. I have been through more anxieties than any other MANILA CIC PR APPLICANT.

Thank you.
