No pay slip for first month??

hi

I am about to complete my 1 year experience by january 2nd week .In the first month employer paid cash and no pay slip ..Only from feb i started getng pay cheq.Can I use that 1month experience for CEC???..I am worried as my lmo is under processing and applied for work permit extension too....
Currently on implied status ..

it appears you are working legally in the first month which would count theoretically speaking, however, the problem is you were paid in cash without being through payroll, am I right? if so, there would be discrepancy between your letter and T4, which would cause concerns by VO, so you might wait to submit your app for another month to be on safe side? even so, there would be difference between your employer letter and 2013 T4 as I can see. so you may attach the additional pay slips in 2014 til the date of submission to prove you have gained one year experience.

Other seniors might have better thoughts!

thank you for the reply..Yes I worked on my pgwp which i gt during jan2013 .nw it expired an don implied status.My employer was outofstation so i had to work 1 month for cash.My LMo underprocessing and applied for WP exension. Tensed it seems from forum that lmo taking long time..
because of tht only I am checking any posiibility to apply nw..

As far as I understand, the working experience gained under implied status does count for CEC as you still have legal temporary resident status. But, remember that one year qualified working experience is fundamental requirement which you must convince the VO through your job letter and other supporting documents such as T4, NOA and pay slips etc. I assume you will also have to prove to VO that you were working legally during the implied status period.

I have the signed copy of my wp application delivery before the expiry of the current status ,fees payement slip .will that be fine.I think I have to wait for 1 more month..otherwise no payslip, implied status everythng gonna make it complicated right?

I don't have similar experience re how to prove the implied status, seems what you mentioned are fine.

Maybe other experienced members will give you better guide what else you need to provide. Best luck!

yeah, i would wait extra month just in case. you dont want to complicate your application
